TC wrote Zig during his Clerkship Era (2017-2018). It uses a harmonic minor scale and off-beat rhythm guitar which gives it an Eastern European vibe. TC wrote the Part A Beat more recently (2023-present).
The title “Zig” is just an attempt to evoke movement, as TC’s daughter told him it reminded her of a dance.
